Shannon Thompson is an educator in the Gulfport School District.  She worked at one of the top schools in Mississippi and was instrumental in improving the reading and writing scores for her students.  Shannon attended the University of Mississippi where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She also received her Master of Arts in Teaching at Delta State University.  Shannon is currently an Academic Coach in the Sunflower County Consolidated School District.  She also has over seven (7) years of experience in the financial sector.
